It works every time

LTPic12Here’s a straightforward question for you today. Do you lack self-confidence…or do you know anyone who does? I think we all know a few. Personally, I’ve seen many people who suffer from this…and I often ask myself, why? Of course there could be extenuating circumstances behind someone’s lack of confidence…but the good thing is there is away to change and for you to gain a more positive aspect on life and your life’s purpose.

You see, when you lack self-confidence you greatly disadvantage yourself in the workplace and in life. Self-confident people on the other hand are more self-assured and project a positive self-image. They are forceful and generally seem happier and ready to tackle the problems of the world. People are attracted to their self-confident personalities!

Today I’ve offered you a visualization technique that will help you to become more self-confident. It won’t happen overnight…but practice it daily for just a month and watch what happens! It’s easy…and only requires a little discipline on your part.

In case you haven’t been by my shop in Mid-Valley recently or on line with us at http://www.wofs.com, this will let you know that our 2017 Almanacs and Diaries are already available and the annual horoscope books for each animal sign can be preordered now. As always, the information inside is only available from WOFS…there are no other products on the market that are anything like these gems or that give you so much advice and knowledge! The Feng Shui Almanac
Year of the Fire Rooster 2017

lt2017fengshualmanac

I have to tell you – I am a huge fan of our annual Feng Shui Almanac 2017 and the latest edition for Year of the Fire Rooster has just been released! I use it daily and in fact, rely on it when making important decisions. Here are a few of the special features that you will find on each of the monthly pages of the almanac.

Earthly Branch and Conflict Animal – on each monthly page you’ll find a chart showing the animal sign that rules each day of the month. The days that show your animal sign are good for you and you can be confident on this day in your work and social life. Opposite the earthly branch is the conflict animal for the particular day, so this day is in conflict with those born on the animal sign indicated. If you find your animal sign as the “conflict animal” it’s best to take it easy and not make any important decisions; don’t sign contracts or commence any new business on these days.

ltactivitysignsInauspicious/Auspicious Activities – When you see black icons on certain days it indicates obstacles for the activities shown in black. So you should refrain from doing any of the activities shown on these days. Conversely, when you see the icons illustrated in fbright colours then these days are auspicious for the activities indicated. You can proceed with important activities on these days.
Not only does the Alamanc show the activities that are auspicious and the ones to avoid, we also provide recommendations for auspicious and inauspicious hours to complete activities. The red circles indicate the lucky hours and black circles indicate unlucky times. So if you have an important meeting or document to sign or presentation to make, be sure to schedule during an auspicious hour and avoid unlucky times

New Moon and Full Moon Days
It’s best to begin projects or start jobs on dates that fall between the new moon and the full moon – this is known as the waxing cycle of the moon. Conversely the moon wanes after the full moon until the next new moon so best not to begin new projects in the waning moon period.

And this is just on the monthly pages! The Almanac is also filled with other helpful feng shui information such as the annual flying start chart, the lucky and unlucky stars for 2017, your astrological horoscope sign affinities, renovation rules for 2017 and much much more!

This useful Almanac was a number one best seller on Amazon last year for many weeks. It has a nice spiral binding that allows it to easily stand on your desk for easy reference so you can quickly check each day and see what’s in store…and whether or not to take action. That’s what I do…and you should too!

Get your copy today of Feng Shui Almanac 2017!

To your success always,
Lillian

Become More Self-Confident Using Visualization

ltsunriseChoose an early morning hour, a day when the sun rises on a clear horizon and you are feeling well rested after a good night’s sleep. Go to a quiet place which can be indoors or outdoors and you will be alone.’

First close your eyes gently with a light smile on your face and fill your mind with happy thoughts. Breathe in and breathe out steadily and imagine yourself looking rested and beautiful…possessed of an inner quiet glow. Feel clever and well-groomed…feel at peace with the world and then SLOWLY focus on the details of your SELF.

Work at creating a firm sense of confidence growing within you. Think of your latest triumph or a moment when you felt good about yourself. Nurture this feeling. Give yourself a pat on the back. Go through a small list of all the blessings in your life. Become aware of yourself becoming more positive. Think these thoughts until you feel your body start to warm up.

Now visualize a powerful bright light just above your head…it’s as blinding as the sun. This bright orb of light is sending rays and rays of bright yellow golden light raining down on you. The rays of light feel warm and gentle ad they fill your body with powerful rays of confidence.

Try keeping this visualization of rays of golden light enveloping you with new found confidence for as long as you can. If you can maintain the image for a full minute it would be wonderful. Think of all the things you want…and be convinced that the light rays coming to you from the cosmic orb are bringing you all that you wish for. Easily and effortlessly.

Do this practice daily for a month and watch your self-confidence skyrocket. Here’s a tip: write a script if you think it will help!

Love,
Lillian

ltbonsaiplant3

Love those perfect little Bonsai plants? These may by beautiful to look at but unfortunately they suggest stunted development. It’s always better to use a living plant that is healthy, green and flourishing. If the plant is dying or in poor health, replace it immediately.

It is said that be moon influences your moods – you are affected by the pull of gravity, which may cause you to feel down and depressed according to how the tides ebb and flow. Make an effort to take control of your moods and resist this pull when it happens to you.

Such a sad sight?

ltpic9No matter how good your feng shui, we all experience what I like to call “life” issues and problems from time to time. After all, we are responsible for ourselves and there’s really no accounting for the actions of others- in the workplace or at a social event …even at the shopping mall or grocery store.

Since we are all ultimately only responsible for our OWN actions and reactions we have the ability to live a happy life – if we choose to. That might sound rather simplistic…but think about it. You can control what you think about…and as the saying goes – “we become what we think about most of the time”. When we let the words or actions of others infiltrate our thoughts and we react negatively to them as a result, in essence we are giving up control of our most precious possession – our mind!

So the choice is up to you…and in the ezine this week I touch on learning how to bend with grace like a blade of grass rather than adopting an inflexible attitude that in the end may defeat you. Nature gives us a lot of lessons if we just open our eyes! Adopt a strategy of non-confrontation, watch how you are reacting and be aware of the pattern of your thoughts. Don’t lose your mind, ok? It’s way too wonderful, precious and powerful…and you are totally in charge of what happens to it!

Lillian

ltgardenfengshuiGood garden feng shui is very important. Gardens are where growth energy gets created and nurtured. People often renovate and upgrade the inside of their homes, but sometimes fail to take care of their garden or yard outside…and then wonder why their feng shui is not better.

When your garden is unkempt and overgrown it can destroy the existing good feng shui of your home.

If you want good garden feng shui, you must spend time creating the right mix of plants and flowers for your garden. For example, a low bushy plant at the front in full view of the main door symbolizes the crimson phoenix, which brings golden opportunities.

Tip! Choose a plant that is free flowering and has red flowers. A splash of red colour at the front brings excellent prospects for the residents of the home.

Plants represent the most positive attributes of the growing wood element and it is the only element amongst all of the five elements of earth, water, fire, metal and wood that has life! Plants also manifest the balance of yin and yang in your garden, responding to the mix of sunlight and shade, water and nutrients from the soil.

The Chinese appreciate every part of the plant…the leaves, flowers and fruit as well as the plant’s shape and silhouette. They bestow particular cultural attributes on the four plants…known as the Four Gentlemen of the Garden. You may want to include one or all of these in your own garden depending on the climate and where you live in the world.

  • LTbambooTreesThe plum, whose blossoms are regarded as pure and superior.
  • The bamboo, which is disciplined and upright.
  • The orchid, which is reclusive and strong in character.
  • The chrysanthemum, which is pure and honest.

In feng shui certain plants are more auspicious than others. Succulent plants with full round leaves and rich dark leaves are deemed to be the most auspicious…symbolizing money and gold.

ltJadePlantA good example is the jade plant, which attracts money and prosperity.

Here are a few more ideas to help you create good garden feng shui:

  • Select plants and flowers wisely, according to the soil type, sunlight and climatic conditions of the garden.
  • Never allow plants to grow wild or unchecked.
  • Don’t allow weeds to choke the flowerbeds and always clear up leaves and other garden debris.
  • If a plant is dying it’s better to get rid of it rather than trying to nurse it back to health. Dying and dead plants in the garden create a lot of harmful chi, which can seep into your house causing a lot of bad luck.
  • Always remember that a garden planted with an abundance of healthy plants and flowers is the best indication that a house is enjoying good feng shui. It reflects the presence of healthy yang energy, which is synonymous with prosperous, happy and vibrant chi.

Happy gardening,
Lillian

LTFallenTreeAs I was walking the other day, I saw a tall majestic-looking tree uprooted and humbled by the severity of an unexpected storm. It was a sad sight to see…this once proud, noble tree laying clumsily across the pavement…only the street crews seemed to have any interest as they readied it for removal.

Yet all around the base of the tree, tiny blades of grass that were able to bend with the changing wind had survived the stormy weather.

Such a sad sight…it made me think how the very strength and pride of the tree had made it inflexible and thus vulnerable to the fierce wind and rain…while the humble and lowly grass seemed so much better equipped to survive the howling winds and rainstorms.

Perhaps we should be more like the grass, and bend gracefully rather than stand inflexible in the face of difficult times. When things get rough, don’t let your pride make matters worse. Change your mental attitude toward the things that are going wrong in your life. Sometimes just looking at things from another perspective will provide you with different solutions.

There’s a lot to be said for taking the path of least resistance…and adopting a strategy of non-confrontation. When you see a conflict brewing or an argument getting out of hand…transform it by choosing your response thoughtfully. Be careful how you say things and how you phrase your opinions. As the saying goes… sometimes it’s better to be kind than to be right.

Learn to give in. Learn to compromise. Learn to walk away. Only those who survive have the opportunity to bounce back when things get better.

Bend gracefully today.

Avoid Triangular Shaped Flower Beds

The triangle is the shape of fire, which clashes with the wood energy of plants. Also triangles have points that can be harmful and possess hidden afflictions. When pointing to the main door, they can cause misfortune to manifest.

LTSunshineBathGive Yourself A Sunshine Bath

Give yourself a sunshine bath this morning. Go into the yard before the sunlight has become excessively strong and allow it to nurture you. Open your mind, body and spirit to the cleansing energy of the sun’s power as your pores soak up this wonderful warm and life-giving energy. Try to bring light and love in the lives of all your loved ones.

Until next week,
Lillian
