In just a couple of months we’ll be hosting our annual Spiritual Feng Shui event in Singapore on July 13 and then in KL the following Sunday (July 20, 2014). Now those of you who have attended past events know just how unique and valuable this special time is that we have together.
This year is no exception – in fact I have a spectacular interactive program planned for you! Good Feng Shui Begins Here!
Good feng shui always starts with a thorough cleaning of your home, room by room. Removing clutter and cleaning well ensures that the chi can flow and energy will remain fresh and not stagnant. Just adding feng shui cures to a messy home does not work.
Begin by cleaning up the entrance area to your home. I know this isn’t easy…because so many of us consider this first point of entry as a kind of “dumping ground” for all our stuff. Things like backpacks, bikes, plants, shoes and so on are pretty common in most households, especially with children. It’s amazing how things never seem to get further than a few feet from the entry.
Try this simple exercise – it will get the chi moving and improve your feng shui immediately! Set aside the time to do this properly – you’ll be glad you did.
- First remove everything away from your front area and door. Move anything blocking the stairs or entry.
- Once everything is removed, sweep and clean the front door and stairs and porch thoroughly. Use saltwater as a final rinse.
- Chant a mantra as you work. ☺
- Don’t forget to remove dead or dying plants from this area. All plant growth must be lush and healthy full of life and vitality. This includes broken flowerpots and plants you are trying to “save”. Move these to the garden area.
- Replace broken or burned out lights and fixtures.
Check the front door and oil any squeaks and creaks. If paint is peeling sand and repaint the door. This is your entryway.
Now take a step back. How do you feel and how does the area feel?
With everything out of the way it’s sure to feel bigger…and believe me the transformation is amazing.
But don’t stop there! Now that the porch entry is clear, make sure the area inside the front door is the same and the door swings open easily. The chi must be now allowed to settle here before moving slowly throughout the rest of your home or apartment.

Cosmic Feng Shui & Invoking Protection of the Protectors
Cosmic Feng Shui starts with learning how to appease and make offerings to the Protectors of the living environment. It also involves manifesting the different Guardians of the Earth, Sky, Water and Fire.
Some of these protectors are alien to the human race and hence comprise Naga Kings and Worldly Gods that appear as creatures with multiple eyes and limbs. But there are also Protectors who look like humans – most well-known of whom are the Earth Goddesses, also known as the five long life sisters. These sisters are extremely compassionate protectors and they often manifest as beautiful maidens, although sometimes they can take on the appearance of old ladies!
If you have any problems that you want help with, just think seriously about them and put them into your mind when you attend the event.
The Protector Puja
Participating in the Protector Puja will not only enhance your practice of feng shui, it will also help you ward off unsafe forces that may inadvertently make their way into your space! Manifesting the Protectors means inviting them into the frequency of your space, making them tea and food offerings and chanting rhythmic invocations to the accompaniment of drums and cymbals. The ritual of inviting them to help us solve our worldly problems is something that Tibetan practitioners of Spiritual feng shui (mainly of the Nyingma and Bon traditions) have done for centuries and perfected to a fine art.
Spiritual feng shui is the starting point of Cosmic feng shui. This is because when we navigate through the uncharted waters of the cosmic frequencies we need the protection of the Protectors. Note that cosmic feng shui is about fine-tuning the way we place furniture in our living spaces and the way we clear our worldly spaces of harmful cosmic energies rising from below the ground and descending from the skies. In other words, it is about how we insulate our grounds (earth energy of the cosmic realms) and how we create shelter from the air above (air energy of the cosmic realms).
So Cosmic feng shui is about detecting poisonous lines that bring about serious illness and loss of energy from below ground using special implements of protection. It is about clearing living spaces with powerful energized tools and with the help of the 5 long-life Goddesses. It incorporates the use of symbols both auspicious and protective to empower the items we place around ourselves to magnify or deflect energies coming from the ten directions.
It also focuses on psychic empowerments that enable the practitioner to perform spiritual cleansing of space to cure residents of serious illness. These empowerments have to be transmitted from a qualified Master who has the necessary permission to give these transmissions.
Anyone can receive these transmissions, but they do come with certain conditions; mainly that one has to make a heart commitment never to use the knowledge and transmitted empowerments to harm anyone. Breaking this commitment can have dire consequences. Plus anyone brave enough to give these transmissions must also realize the risks. This is because the actual transmission is to itself offer protection from wandering Naga Spirits, so that one stays protected. Fake Spiritual Masters who do not have the permission to give empowerments can get “attacked” physically and mentally and may die or become very seriously ill!
