While it is of course vital to take care of the annual updates I want to remind you that getting through the year smoothly also requires monthly check ups which we provide in this ezine and on our website. It is very worthwhile to identify the troublesome months that may have hidden dangers so that you do NOT become a victim in a dangerous month.
The key here is knowing what’s in store for you and doing something about it before unfortunate incidents occur. When you follow the monthly updates your feng shui is truly updated. We all know the feng shui winds of the New Year are always different in strength and quality (this year is what is known as a “black year” for example), and likewise the feng shui winds of each month. So please, this doesn’t take long!
This year is UP TO YOU! There are degrees of good fortune and misfortune. The charts, numbers, star influences and elements combine differently for different people…including the influence of the homes you live in. We’ve summarized our analysis for the year and the months in a super user-friendly way. Now it’s up to you to decide how deep you want to go…but I will say that what we have included in our annual books, our monthly updates and continued weekly tips in this ezine are all enough to help you navigate successfully through the “black year” ahead.

First Month of the Bing Shen Fire Monkey Year
February 4 – March 5, 2016
Here’s your monthly flying star chart – the first of the Fire Monkey Year and I urge you to review this and pay attention to these recommendations. This covers the period February 4 – March 5, 2016.
In each of the nine grids you’ll see two numbers. The larger number is the annual star, which has now changed from previous reports since we have entered the Year of the Fire Monkey, and the smaller number in the lower right corner is the monthly star that you must also take into account.
The first thing to do is determine where the most important rooms in your house are located. By important I mean rooms that you use frequently…like your bedroom, the kids’ rooms, dining room etc. You may already know this, but if not use a reliable compass and stand in the center of your home to take your directions. It’s always good to do a recheck of your directions. Once you know where each sector is, you can refer to the flying star chart below and take appropriate action. So if your front door, the one everyone uses is located in the north sector then refer to the relevant grid below for the kind of luck that will affect everyone in the household this month. Some people like to make this more complicated than necessary – it’s not really difficult so please take the time to review this monthly.
Which sector will bring you luck?
SOUTHWEST is the luckiest sector this month and it’s even better because the year 8 star combines with the monthly 8 star. This month, residents in this sector can expect serious wealth and money luck especially if your house is facing SW. This double 8 combination is very good for property accumulation so it’s a good time to invest in real estate. Energize with the Water Wave Symbol or 3 Vases with Double Fish.
Heaven luck in the SOUTH is doubled this month bringing excellent money luck and perhaps an unexpected windfall. Display the Gui Ren Plaque in the SOUTH of the family room to actualize good luck. If your main door is in the south place a sailing ship here loaded with crystals and ingots to symbolize money flowing into your home. Not too much metal in this sector please – no large metal objects.
The SE and WEST are also auspicious this month – be sure to read about them in FS World Magazine.
Unlucky sectors?
5/5 in the NORTHEAST makes this by far the most dangerous sector this month with the double 5 so please pay attention, as this could even be life threatening for young male family members. Display amulets and keep one under your pillow if NE is the sector where your bedroom is located. Display the Golden Mantra Pillar here and Bejeweled 9 Spoke Dorje to overcome these unlucky stars. It would also be wise to display the blue rhino and elephant amulet in your car.
The Center this month brings the threat of serious stomach upsets and abdominal pain. Display a Bejeweled Garuda or Medicine Buddha Stupa here to counter the yin energy. If you are pregnant please avoid this center as there are dangers of miscarriage and abdominal problems and don’t sleep here if your bedroom is located in this sector. Serious injuries caused by accidents are possible so drive slowly and display the Blue Rhino and Elephant Amulet in your car to protect you from accidents.
It’s important to fine-tune your feng shui every month and take care of the monthly flying stars. Note that the sectors mentioned above are only a few of the sectors. You need to read about all of the sectors to properly update your monthly feng shui.
