One thing I am very proud in my career as an author and teacher, is my ability to simply; to break down complicated methodologies and feng shui principles into new learning formats that everyone can easily understand. I’m always frustrated, as I’m sure you are, with books and courses that complicate and confuse…instead of leading the student through the material in an easy and understandable way. Paht Chee and the 12 Zodiac Animals

In order to understand the nuances of reading a Paht Chee chart, you must master your knowledge of the Chinese Astrological Zodiac Wheel, as this will provide the key to unlocking many secrets of your chart!

A skillful Paht Chee reader possesses a solid grasp of how each of the 12 zodiac animal signs interact with each other and is fully aware of all the various special relationships between the twelve signs. Knowing how these relationships bond together to create special chi within a chart is the key to helping you activate chi that is inherent in your destiny! One such relationship is the “Zodiac Allies”

The Zodiac Allies

There are four groups of zodiac allies or affinities, each group comprising three animal signs whose chi always nurtures each other. When all three of these animals in any grouping appear in the earthly branches a paht chee chart it always brings hidden elements to a chart to either strengthen the chart or add a new dimension of analysis in terms of personality or relationships with others. Here they are:

The Competitors: Comprised of the Rat, Dragon and Monkey. Check their position on the Astrological Wheel – 1, 5, 9. They form the Triangle Affinity of Competitors and when these three animals appear in the earthly branches the hidden element of WATER is created.
The Intellectuals: The Ox, Snake and Rooster make up this group. Note their position on the Astrological Wheel – 2, 6,10 each sitting four animals away from each other. They form the Triangle of Intellectuals. When these three animals appear in the earthly branches, the hidden element of METAL is created.
The Independents: These are the Tiger, Horse and the Dog positioned on the Astrological Wheel as 3, 7, 11 and creating the Affinity Triangle of Independents. When these three animals appear in the earthly branches, the hidden element of FIRE is created.
The Diplomats: The Rabbit, Sheep and Boar make up this group. Note their positions on the Astrological Wheel (4,8,12) and also sitting four animals away from each other. Together they make up the Triangle Affinity of Diplomats and when these three animals appear in the earthly branches the hidden element of WOOD is created!
There are many other important zodiac relationships such as “Secret Friends” and “Seasonal Friends” that also combine to create hidden elements.

The Power of HUM

HUM is a powerful message to bring to mind if you ever feel like you are in danger of if someone is trying to harm you. Just close your eyes and bring this image to mind and then imagine the light radiating outwards around you. This will instantly steady your breathing, calm your fears and keep you safe. To enhance the effect of HUM even further, recite the sound hum, hum, hum, hum hum under your breath. It will instantly blow away anything that is threatening to harm you.

Meditate and Get Divine Help By Visualizing HUM at Your Heart

Here is a 5-minute meditation to activate your inner spirituality using the symbol HUM.

As you meditate focus on the heart and chest area. Place an eight-petalled lotus there with a bright light white above it. The light radiates outward like the sun; then the syllable “HUM” slowly appears. It is blue in colour and it is glowing with a radiance that is almost blinding in intensity. It sits on top of the lotus and it transforms the white light into the brightest blue light. As the bright blue Hum stabilizes inside your mind, you meditation will also stabilize. Stay with this meditation image for a few minutes and then imagine the blue light transforming into white light before eventually fading. This is a five minute meditation to get you used to seeing the white light, the sacred syllable HUM, the blue light and then back to the white light again seeing all this with your mind.

Practice this visualization once a day either in the early morning when you waken or at night before going to bed. With practice will come many wonderful experiences. In the beginning you are sure to get distracted, but each time the mind wanders away from the white light or the eight-petalled lotus or the HUM symbol, open your eyes and look at the image again.

You will find that this is an easy visualization and that it is very calming. In no time at all you will be able to hold the image and begin to access your own inner spirituality. You may want to make a note in your journal of your experiences if you feel this would be helpful.

Change it up!

If you’ve been having a tough time at work lately and things aren’t going as well as you’d like…why not change the energies around your desk or work area? Check your kua number to ensure you are facing your best directions; check for poison arrows that may have come about since you last checked for them and apply the appropriate element solution. Be sure to enhance the chi of your desktop with the cures and enhancers required.

Focus on nourishing your chi; when the outer chi is taken care of, your overall environment is healthy; when your inner chi is properly cared for, you are healthier. Both are important.
