Here’s an easy, magical “lift” for you

ltpic9I know this Year of the Horse has not been an easy one for many of you! So I thought I would just mention something that I do that might be of help to you.

It’s really easy to get overwhelmed by our problems…especially when they seem so daunting and monumental, right? So what I do is try to break down the bigger problem into more “bite-size” pieces and I definitely do not try to tackle the entire predicament all at once.

Your problem might be something that has just happened to you or a result of some action (or inaction) on your part. It might be due to another individual that is involved – causing you angst and pain. Perhaps it is a competitor. So it’s important to look at the issue first as a whole and then take it apart! By the way this is also an excellent strategy for success – when you outline your strategy and then take it one step at a time…never omitting any part of the process!

Allow yourself time to analyze and don’t be reactive. Have a conversation with yourself and you’ll find that many deep insights will surface. You see, the mind has a wonderful way of storing all information and you can call forth what will be useful and needed in solving your problem.

Too often we make quick and hasty decisions and speak words that we later regret.
Don’t let this happen to you, ok? Take your time. And hold on to your beliefs and dreams no matter what. The Year of the Sheep is a much more balanced year!

Love
Lillian

For Good Fortune, Keep the Chi Moving!

LTCleanHouseIn order to have good feng shui, the energy in the home must not stagnate – it should be vibrant and alive …and moving. When chi is too still it attracts what is known as yin spirit formation…it is quiet and dull and has no power to attract good fortune to you. For good fortune of the material kind to be created there must be plenty of Yang energy…and Yang energy is always moving, it’s never still.

Although we make it a habit to thoroughly clean and rearrange our furniture prior to Chinese New Year, it is a good idea to do this on a more regular basis throughout the year since. Moving your furniture even slightly is a good feng shui practice for your home…rearranging sofas, beds and sideboards to sweep and remove the dirt and dead insects that may have accumulated will help immensely to keep the chi moving.

Here are a few other things to do to help keep the energy alive in your home:

1.  Clean under the carpets on a regular basis as this is where dust accumulates easily and chi can stagnate.

2.  Give the underside of your bed a good vacuum to clear the space you sleep on.

3.  Consider repainting your home every two to three years.

4.  Take care of necessary minor renovations and issues when they occur…don’t put them off with a plan to take care of them later – often such projects just get put off until they cause major issues resulting in greater expense and time to fix later on.

5.  Open your doors and windows on a regular basis to let the sunshine and fresh yang energy in.

When houses or apartment buildings get run down their energy begins to fade…they get progressively weaker until they seem to “die”. That’s why you’ll find the most successful department stores malls and hotels are always well maintained and updated by their owners and property developers who understand the need to keep the energy of their multi-million dollar properties alive and moving. You must do the same in your home.

LTPeoplePaintingAll that may be required in your home is a good cleaning and repainting of the walls, while at other times a more serious renovation in accordance with changing flying stars or the changing period may be needed. Although major renovations may not be possible for everyone or in certain areas due to the Tai Sui presence, a really thorough cleaning and moving of furniture will be of great benefit. You can find the flying star recommendations for 2015, The Year of the WOOD SHEEP, in my fortune and feng shui books right here!

When we revitalize the interior of our home or office we often experience an almost magical “lift” of energy…the space seems larger, cleaner and more open. We ourselves feel better…lighter and happier because each time we make these changes we are changing the energy by moving the chi.
There are few things that bring faster results and benefits than revitalizing the interior of your home…so this is a feng shui practice that I embrace and have applied to my home and to the homes of many of my friends with great success.

Why not get this done today and keep the chi moving and the good fortune will flow in? And be sure to read the next article where I give you even more ways to naturally increase the YANG energy in your home!

Good Luck!
Lillian

Upping The Yang Energy…Naturally!

LTFlowersLilliesFlowers – An easy way to add YANG energy instantly

By now you are aware of the importance of balancing yin and yang…but ultimately more “up” on the yang side is best. Here are a few ways to bring up the yang energy in your life and surroundings…naturally!

Dress it Up With Fresh Flowers: Flowers symbolize precious life energy and will also hide harmful edges or poison arrows. If you’re feeling down, put some fresh beautiful flowers in your living room and you’ll feel an instantaneous lift! A word of caution: Do make sure to change them the moment they begin to fade because fading flowers suggest and ending and bring harmful chi – not to mention looking really ugly! Change the water regularly as well to extend the life and beauty of this easy Yang uplifter!

LTLadywalkingDogAppreciate the LIFE FORCE of your pet: Wow – I love my dogs and they are such good life energy to have around. They enhance the feng shui of any living space…especially if you work and your home is left unoccupied and silent during the day. Their vital life force brings yang energy into what may be yin due to the silence of being unoccupied. And do remember always to treat your pet with compassion and kindness, as they are surely such good life energy to have around and give their love unconditionally to you.

LTFeedingBirdBirds bring especially happy YANG energy: Birds belong to the Phoenix family and bring opportunity that has the potential of ripening into great success. So feed the birds around your home, make friends with them and invite them into your world. If they trust you sufficiently to build a nest in your home or rooftop, the good fortune they bring will definitely benefit your children. Talk to them of many things- even your deepest hopes and aspirations. They will fly high and take your wishes into the cosmos…enhanced by their precious yang energy!

These are just a few ways you can “up” the YANG energy in your home naturally and you’ll feel the effects and much happier right away!

Until next week,
Lillian

Immediately following this accolade, in early January 2010, she received the prestigious Brand Laureate Personality of The Year Award presented by the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia! LTQuartzHeartEnhance Love Energy

To energize universal love energy, place raw crystals in the SOUTHWEST. A rose quartz is particularly energizing for romantic happiness. Amethysts are also good for love. In truth, all crystals have some auspicious meaning and attract positive attributes and the above are just some examples. Here’s a hint today: You an also use your own instincts to select the kind of crystals you have an affinity for…or ones you feel will be beneficial for the result you are trying to create.

Appreciate the fact that you are fortunate simply to be alive! You can make choices and live the kind of life you wish to live. Your karma is comparably excellent if you start from the premise that you have good luck…because you will attract even more of it.
