Note Tai Sui for 2015

ltpic9At this time of the year I like to remind everyone that it will soon be time to update the feng shui of your home or office. This is what we call practicing time dimension feng shui in order to ensure your house and business continues to enjoy good fortune and that nothing interferes with it in the coming year.

Even if you think you have feng-shui-ed your home exceptionally well, or you have employed the services of the best feng shui master, if you do not take care of your annual updates afflictive energies that may hit you, will send you reeling. This is especially true if your main door, bedroom or office is directly hit by an afflictive number such as the 5 yellow, the 2 illness star or the 7-violent/robbery star.

So please don’t ignore the time dimension and begin now to review the annual chart for 2015 and how it pertains to each of your home sectors so that you are not caught off guard and trying to do it all at the last minute. In some cases we recommend relocating your bedroom because of specific afflictions, so you’ll want to think about how to refigure things beforehand if possible.

You can find most of this information in our annual Fortune & Feng Shui Horoscope books for 2015 – there are twelve of them – one for each of the animal signs. You can click here to purchase your 2015 Fortune & Feng Shui Horoscope Books.I would also recommend that you attend my live feng shui extravaganza if you are able in Singapore, KL or Florida!

I’ll see you next week.

Appeasing the Grand Duke Jupiter – The Tai Sui 2015

The Chinese call him Tai Sui – he is the God of the year. His location follows the path of the planet Jupiter hence we call his star the Grand Duke Jupiter, and it is always located in the direction of the animal sign that rules the year. In 2015, the year of the SHEEP, the Grand Duke occupies the Sheep’s location of SW1.

Since his location changes annually, it is important for those of your practicing feng shui to note its position and then make sure that you do not confront that during the year. Why not? Facing the Tai Sui brings misfortune and obstacles, so never sign contracts, negotiate a deal, or make important presentations while facing SW1 in 2015. In fact, no one should face him directly when sitting, working, eating, watching TV, etc. Trust me, the Grand Duke can cause havoc and you will feel the impact of his wrath.

Usually the animal sign that is opposite to the Tai Sui’s location is thought to be clashing with him and this brings hostile and unfortunate luck to those born under that sign. In 2015 the OX is directly opposite the Tai Sui. Therefore although everyone should try to appease the Tai Sui, in 2015 the OX must take special care and make every effort to appease him.

ltpiyaoThe Appeasing Cure: Many place the pi yao (also known as pi xie) inside the home in the direction of the Tai Sui. This is believed to be a very effective in ensuring he is not offended. In fact, it’s a good idea to have one of the auspicious creatures in your home anyway and that way you are sure not to offend. There are different postures and styles of this creature, so choose one that appeals to you.

NO RENOVATIONS PLEASE! You must also refrain from making excessive noise where the Tai Sui is located (SW 1). This means you should NOT undertake renovations work here or any cutting, digging etc. If you do, sever misfortune could befall your household and even cause the cosmic spirits to get out of sync. Note that someone in the house inadvertently offending the Grand Duke Jupiter usually causes sudden hauntings.

LTTaiSuiplaqueThe Tai Sui Plaque for 2015 is also an excellent cure. We create an annual Tai Sui amulet which I urge all of you to obtain and carry with you. Since the Tai Sui persona changes each year, a new protective amulet and plaque is needed each year.

Activate the Power of 8 With The Eight Immortals

The legendary Eight Immortals are reputed to be special celestial beings that have gained immortality. Each of these immortals is associated with the gift of good luck empowerments and having their images in your home invoke the good fortune energies associated with the Period of 8.

When images of the Eight Immortals crossing the great waters are placed inside homes, they help residents go through struggles and bad luck and eventually emerge victorious! So having them in your home during the current period of 8 (which lasts until Feb 4, 2024), is also an excellent way for you to activate the power of 8. Their presence in the home is believed to activate talismans that they each hold and these are said to be their source of great power!

After graduating with an MBA from Harvard Business School, Lillian went on to pursue a highly successful business career in banking and finance in the 1980’s in Hong Kong. Her business acumen, drive and abundant energy soon led her from the finance world to the world of luxury department stores and boutiques where, through a leveraged buy out, she became Chairman and shareholder of The Dragon Seed Group.

All the while she was guided and taught by her feng shui masters in Hong Kong and China – and she attributes much of her monumental and quick rise to success in Hong Kong directly to them.

Lillian soon decided to retire from active corporate life and return to Malaysia to raise her beautiful daughter, Jennifer, and spend more time with her family. It was at this time she began to devote her energy to writing and furthering her study of feng shui.

She published her first book in Malaysia in 1995 that quickly became a best seller and the rest is history. Today she is Chairman of Wofs.Com, a feng shui franchise and merchandising company run by her daughter, Jennifer Too.

She trains feng shui students and future consultants at her Certified Consulting Institute in Malaysia and is much loved by her readers, associates and students for the way she teaches practical feng shui in a user-friendly way, using ordinary situations and circumstances that interest people and affect their everyday lives.

In November 2009, at the International Feng Shui Convention in Singapore, the well-deserved title of GRAND MASTER OF FENG SHUI was conferred upon Lillian Too. Immediately following this accolade, in early January 2010, she received the prestigious Brand Laureate Personality of The Year Award presented by the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia! There seems to be no stopping her popularity and these days!

Lillian believes everyone should know her secrets and learn how to adapt feng shui to modern life… and she warmly welcomes you into her Mandala.

LTFuDogsDouble Goodness!

The Taoist concept of “double goodness” is that everything that brings good fortune and is auspicious is always more effective when evoked as a pair. That’s why you’ll find that many Taoist masters recommend placing auspicious items like elephants, wealth vases or even pieces of furniture in pairs to attract luck.

This also applies to protection. Fu dogs, Pi yaos and Chi lins are traditional protectors that are widely used not only in homes but in public places and restaurants. To be effective they are always placed in pairs – male and female, yin and yang, always flanking the door.

Sometimes it’s not necessary to know everything about your friends and how they think or why they do things the way they do. Sometimes there are things that we are not meant to understand at this moment in time. Think about it this way: people reveal what they are prepared to about themselves, when they want to. Don’t force things!
