I hope this finds you well…I wrote this prior to leaving for Bodhgaya and I’ll have lots to share with you on my return.

Protecting the Patriarch in 2016
This past year many of us have suffered from the nasty effects of the hostile #3 star in the center of the feng shui chart. Perhaps it was increased conflicts and misunderstandings or legal problems that affected you. It seems like everyone was hit in some way by the strong and ferocious nature of this star in 2015. In 2016 this wood star flies into Northwest, home of the Patriarch, and although flying into metal weakens its strength, it will still cause a lot of disharmony and danger for the Patriarch.
What this means is the Patriarch must not only be careful in 2016 but also adapt the correct feng shui protection. As we already know, the element that is absent in 2016 is water, which symbolizes power luck. So all patriarchs need to increase vitality and introduce lots of water energy. Do this with water fountains or similar water cures into your office or workspace, paint the walls blue and wear blue or black clothing for water energy chi.
Patriarchs are also susceptible to attack from others through politicking and thus need additional protection. One powerful amulet I would recommend using is the King Gesar pin available at www.wofs.com , which can be pinned on your suit or clothing. You can also invite the image of the dragon flanked by water into your office space. Remove all windchimes and tinkling objects as these worsen hostility and cause arguments to get louder!
Also be aware that this #3 star may weaken your resolve and cause those under you to challenge your authority, hence even more reason to be aware of and take care of this star in 2016.
BEST FENG SHUI CURES FOR THE #3 STAR IN 2016
The best way to handle the # 3 star is to strengthen the metal energy of the northwest (without using windchimes) and at the same time weaken it with fire energy.
Display the Red Nine Deity Invocation Plaque for power. It should be hung prominently in the Northwest. These nine deities protect you from enemies plotting against you and help you if your authority or power is waning. They increase your inner life force and spirit essence. You can also put the plaque on your desk and say the invocations daily, which allows you to control the difficulties that may be affecting you or your business.
Use Red Tara’s Lamp to transform quarrelsome energy. Red Tara is the Goddess of Enthrallment and brings special popularity luck. If your bedroom or entrance is in the NW, place the lamp in this location. This is really most important if your bedroom happens to be in the Northwest sector of your home.
Finally I want to remind you that bad luck brought by the # 3 star (or any malevolent star) is more strongly activated when there is a lot of movement in the space, if there is a bright light turned on in the space (except for the Tara Lamp) and if there is increased noise level in the space. So please keep this in mind.

A Word About Karma
It is very much within your power to create the causes for your future happiness and success, as it is to create the causes for a future of misfortune and unhappiness. You are the one who is responsible for creating the negative and positive events in your life – your life right now and your future life!
You see Kim, karma is the law of cause and effect. When we describe things that happen to us as “karmic episodes”- like having ”bad karma”, it means that at some time in our past (either in past lives or in our present life) the cause was created for an event to happen. So if you are the victim of betrayal for example, it means you created the cause for it to happen, like it or not. You should actually be happy because you have settled a “karmic debt” and the betrayal instantly loses the power to hurt you. When negative things happen, they actually should create a greater mindfulness on your part about the way to interact with people or handle situations. Treat people who annoy you and situations that irritate as your “teachers.”
Likewise, when good things happen, know that you have also created the causes and conditions for your good karma to ripen. As we all know, the more good you do to others, the more good will be done to you. Or as it is said;, “As you sow, so shall you reap.” When we understand what great joy there is in being of service to others and feel that helping others is the real purpose of life, we possess the ultimate realization that leads to unlimited spiritual growth.
This kind of feeling doesn’t come to just anyone. You need to have good karma to feel this way. Think about your friends or acquaintances – how many of them would actually enjoy making personal and time sacrifices to help others?
Karma is karma. Remember it’s up to you to always be a conscious creator of happy events…and good karma!

Tai Sui Plaque For 2016
The Tai Sui (Grand Duke Jupiter), who is also the God of the Year moves to Southwest 3, the zodiac home of the MONKEY. Since it’s not appropriate to face the Tai Sui directly all you who are “west direction” must remember not to sit facing SW in 2016 – even if it is one of your best directions according to your kua number.

When you are confronted with a problem that brings you face to face with uncertainty, think about it and consider that it may be beneficial.
