Eleventh Month of the Jia Wu Wood Horse
(December 7 – January 5, 2015)

Here’s your monthly flying star chart and I urge you to review this and pay attention to these recommendations. This covers the period December 7 – January 5, 2015.

In each of the nine grids you’ll see two numbers. The larger number is the annual star, which you probably are already familiar with, and the smaller number in the lower right corner is the monthly star.

The first thing to do is determine where the most important rooms in your house are located. By important I mean rooms that you use frequently…like your bedroom, the kids’ rooms, dining room etc. You may already know this, but if not use a reliable compass and stand in the center of your home to take your directions. Once you know where each sector is, you can refer to the flying star chart below and take appropriate action. So if your front door, the one everyone uses is located in the north sector then refer to the relevant grid below for the kind of luck that will affect everyone in the household this month.

LTDecemberFlyingStar

Which sector will bring you luck?

The illness star has flown into the SOUTH to form an auspicious sum of ten combination bringing prosperity and wealth luck to the occupants of this sector. Display a wealth chest box here, as this is a good time for property and asset accumulation. Be aware of possibility of minor health issues due to the 2 star perhaps with the heart or the eye. Display a longevity vase to protect yourself.

In the WEST occupants enjoy good money luck this month – display a wealth granting tree or 6 pieces of gold bar with gold ingots here to energize wealth luck. You may see more disagreements between young and old and some health related issues with lung infection and nose.

Unlucky sectors?

The EAST is an inauspicious sector because the misfortune star 5 joins the illness star. Staying here could result in serious illness. Display 6-rod metal windchimes or 5-element pagoda to protect. Don’t have fire or bright lights here and energy could fuel the bad chi. Wear the HUM pendant for protection.

In the NORTH this month the 3 star brings inauspicious energies to the occupants and serous disagreements and tension could arise. Keep this area quiet and no plants here please. Remedy afflicted chi with 3-legged bird mirror and Amitabha Crystal Ball. Be careful with open flames and fire and no chimes or bells here this month.

It’s important to fine-tune your feng shui every month and take care of the monthly flying stars. Note that these are only a few of the sectors – for example the NORTHWEST is visited by the prosperity star bringing good fortune but you need a lock coin to prevent against money loss too! You need to read about all of the sectors to properly update your monthly feng shui. You’ll find these monthly charts in Feng Shui World Magazine, so if you’re not already a subscriber I suggest you sign on! It’s quick and easy and always available when you choose the online version…but printed copies are of course available as well!

Significant Spiritual Days, December, 2014

If you are receiving our monthly magazine Feng Shui World you will recognize the calendar below. This comprehensive spiritual calendar advises the significant and powerful days to chant mantras, perform pujas and conduct powerful rituals that can increase your wealth, success, love and happiness.

Special Notation:

Nine Bad Omens and Ten Good Omens

In December we celebrate two Guru Rinpoche Tsog days which fall on the 1st and 31st of the month. These are excellent days to do extensive supplications and tsog offering to the Lotus Buddha known as Guru Rinpoche. Chant his mantra and Seven Line Prayer as much as possible.

The NINE BAD OMENS DAY makes an appearance beginning at 12 noon on the 27th of December and ending at noon on December 28th. These are considered inauspicious days and it is best not to start anything like a project or a retreat. Try chanting the Heart Sutra or the Noble Stack of Auspiciousness to dispel these omens.

10 GOOD OMENS DAY – This immediately follows the 9 Bad Omens Day and it begins at noon on December 28 and ends on the auspicious day of the 29th before noon. The 29th of December is also Tara and Medicine Buddha Day

TARA DAYS: This month we have two Tara Days. Chanting Tara Mantras and praises on these days multiplies success and removes obstacles. Join Lillian Too and her dharma friends online in performing Tara Puja on the 8th day of the Spiritual calendar. Write to tarapuja@wofs.com for details on how to participate!

ltpic10-2Grand Master Lillian Too is undoubtedly the world’s most prolific and popular writer and advocate on living with good feng shui! She has written over 100 books that have been translated into 31 different languages, and over 10 million copies of her books have been sold worldwide.

After graduating with an MBA from Harvard Business School, Lillian went on to pursue a highly successful business career in banking and finance in the 1980’s in Hong Kong. Her business acumen, drive and abundant energy soon led her from the finance world to the world of luxury department stores and boutiques where, through a leveraged buy out, she became Chairman and shareholder of The Dragon Seed Group.

All the while she was guided and taught by her feng shui masters in Hong Kong and China – and she attributes much of her monumental and quick rise to success in Hong Kong directly to them.

Lillian soon decided to retire from active corporate life and return to Malaysia to raise her beautiful daughter, Jennifer, and spend more time with her family. It was at this time she began to devote her energy to writing and furthering her study of feng shui.

She published her first book in Malaysia in 1995 that quickly became a best seller and the rest is history. Today she is Chairman of Wofs.Com, a feng shui franchise and merchandising company run by her daughter, Jennifer Too.

She trains feng shui students and future consultants at her Certified Consulting Institute in Malaysia and is much loved by her readers, associates and students for the way she teaches practical feng shui in a user-friendly way, using ordinary situations and circumstances that interest people and affect their everyday lives.

In November 2009, at the International Feng Shui Convention in Singapore, the well-deserved title of GRAND MASTER OF FENG SHUI was conferred upon Lillian Too. Immediately following this accolade, in early January 2010, she received the prestigious Brand Laureate Personality of The Year Award presented by the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia! There seems to be no stopping her popularity and these days!

Lillian believes everyone should know her secrets and learn how to adapt feng shui to modern life… and she warmly welcomes you into her Mandala.

Getting the Lighting Right In Your Workspace

LTDeskLampKeep Lighting in Front

Having a bright light shining behind you in the office can lead to disloyalty and betrayal. This creates unbalanced energy and may even light up the wrong places. Your desk light must never be directed to the back… always keep the front part of your desk (and office) well lit. If you have ceiling lights they should be directed to the space in front of the desk to create a symbolic “bright hall” and allow the chi to settle and accumulate in front of you…this allows you to benefit from it.
