We’re busy here in KL getting ready for the New Year – there is so much preparation and shopping to get done…it’s a whirlwind of activity…but I love it. We Chinese take these preparations very seriously because it is most important that we follow tradition and safeguard the health and happiness and of course, the prosperity of our families.
If you follow tradition, cleaning thoroughly and clearing clutter is a must and for good feng shui it’s recommended all year long so that the chi can flow freely. But this is a good time to get things really clean – move furniture that hasn’t been moved all year, clean the cobwebs and wipe things down to rid yourself of all the stale energy that’s accumulated this year. Get rid of all those spider webs and dust!
Naturally any repairs to your house and condo should already have been completed – especially leaky faucets, plumbing problems, drainage issues and so on. Water is wealth and if anything is leaky, rusty or broken you can expect some financial problems so do take care of these things.
Take time to take care of yourself too. We often get caught up and forget that this can be a stressful and tiring time for us…so make your plans and allocate your time properly. You want to be beautiful, happy and ready to welcome the New Year with enthusiasm and gratitude for all that you have in your life. Take time to say your prayers and be thankful for all the blessings you have already received – your friends, your family, your health and well…you can name the rest.
To your good health and success always,
Love is Blooming in 2017!
Did you know that 2017 is an excellent year for finding that man or woman of your dreams? There is a very simple feng shui method that you can use to speed things up if you are seriously looking for love and marriage and that is to activate your Peach Blossom Star.
The four animal signs at the cardinal points of the compass are “peach blossom animals” and your zodiac sign governs your peach blossom animal.
If you are a TIGER, HORSE or DOG your Peach Blossom animal is a RABBIT and you should place in the east of your bedroom.
If you are a RABBIT, SHEEP or BOAR, your Peach Blossom animal is a RAT, and you should place in the NORTH of your bedroom.
If you are a RAT, DRAGON or MONKEY, your Peach Blossom animal is a ROOSTER, and you should place in the WEST of your bedroom.
If you are a OX, SNAKE or ROOSTER, your Peach Blossom animal is a HORSE, and you should place in the SOUTH of your bedroom.
ENHANCING YOUR LOVE LUCK: Choose an image of your Peach Blossom animal that is beautifully decorated and bejeweled if possible. Don’t buy some cheap animal from the roadside or discount shop if you are looking for love. Remember this is symbolic of the kind of love luck that you want to attract! Place your peach blossom animal in the correct location in your bedroom or any room that you spend a lot of time in. Then shine a light or play some romantic music near your Peach Blossom animal to activate the pleasant energy frequencies of the sector.
And to add to your love luck this year, note that one of the special stars of the Paht Chee chart in 2017 is the Star of Peach Blossom. This star does not appear every year so be assured that there are plenty of love energies circulating for you to take advantage of. However, this star also brings the possibility of infidelity and third party interference n an otherwise happy marriage so do be aware of the influences that can manifest with the appearance of the Peach Blossom Star this year.

Are You Ready For The New Year?
I am sure that a lot of you already subscribe to our monthly magazine, Feng Shui World, and I can tell you unabashedly that I am very proud of this publication. It really is like no other magazine on the market today as it contains very important and relevant feng shui information as well as stories and articles contributed by many excellent writers and guest contributors, monthly calendars and updates, monthly flying stars, our spiritual monthly calendar and well just so much more I cannot mention it all here.
The January issue is always a sell-out because in this issue we feature our Chinese New Year Special for 2017, Year of the Fire Rooster. Preparing for the New Year is something that most of us take very seriously so of course there is an article which includes what to do about things like home repairs, new paint and furniture, clearing clutter, bed renewal, crockery and cutlery, restocking the kitchen, new clothes, updating the feng shui of your home, rituals for the 1st day of Chinese New Year and much more.
We also let you in on a space cleansing ritual that is very important as well as how to get your remedies ready for the New Year. If you are using old cures we give you the formula for cleansing water to clean the old cures.
You’ll also find what to do if you pray to the Kitchen god, Local Landlord or the Tua Pek Kong – like how and what to prepare for the home-cooked meal and then how to clean their altars. “This is to ensure that when your house gods come back from making their annual report, they have a clean and new-looking altar waiting for them.”
So you see, there is just so much information that you cannot find anywhere else! We also include a section on “Honouring the Gods of Wealth and Happiness” including what directions to face as you pray to a specific God and how to select which of the 3 gods you wish to pray to based on the facing direction of your home! You’ll need to know the most auspicious time to perform this ritual and we outline it all for you.
Be sure to order Feng Shui World Magazine today and I recommend an annual subscription, which is very reasonable – you can select a digital or printed version – according to your preference.
As we ready ourselves for the Year of the Fire Rooster, it is important to remember to always do your feng shui with good intention. You can incorporate spirituality into your practice whatever your religious preference may be. Act kindly and with compassion towards others and you will find your feng shui results to be really amazing and beyond your expectations! It is all up to you.
Grand Master Lillian Too is undoubtedly the world’s most prolific and popular writer and advocate on living with good feng shui! She has written over 100 books that have been translated into 31 different languages, and over 10 million copies of her books have been sold worldwide.
After graduating with an MBA from Harvard Business School, Lillian went on to pursue a highly successful business career in banking and finance in the 1980’s in Hong Kong. Her business acumen, drive and abundant energy soon led her from the finance world to the world of luxury department stores and boutiques where, through a leveraged buy out, she became Chairman and shareholder of The Dragon Seed Group.
All the while she was guided and taught by her feng shui masters in Hong Kong and China – and she attributes much of her monumental and quick rise to success in Hong Kong directly to them.
Lillian soon decided to retire from active corporate life and return to Malaysia to raise her beautiful daughter, Jennifer, and spend more time with her family. It was at this time she began to devote her energy to writing and furthering her study of feng shui.
She published her first book in Malaysia in 1995 that quickly became a best seller and the rest is history. Today she is Chairman of Wofs.Com, a feng shui franchise and merchandising company run by her daughter, Jennifer Too.
She trains feng shui students and future consultants at her Certified Consulting Institute in Malaysia and is much loved by her readers, associates and students for the way she teaches practical feng shui in a user-friendly way, using ordinary situations and circumstances that interest people and affect their everyday lives.
In November 2009, at the International Feng Shui Convention in Singapore, the well-deserved title of GRAND MASTER OF FENG SHUI was conferred upon Lillian Too. Immediately following this accolade, in early January 2010, she received the prestigious Brand Laureate Personality of The Year Award presented by the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia! There seems to be no stopping her popularity and these days!
Lillian believes everyone should know her secrets and learn how to adapt feng shui to modern life… and she warmly welcomes you into her Mandala.
