A Quick Fix

LTPic12Its hard to believe it’s the end of August already…but there are still several months left in this “Black Year” that we are all going through.

I was chatting with one of my friends recently and he complained that he was having a lot of trouble in one area of his business – he was suffering significant losses and was even considering closing down that particular division.

Upon further review, I discovered that most the staff working in this division, all had their office desks positioned so that they were sitting facing NORTH, which looked out on lovely grassy area outside his building. I knew immediately that this meant that they had their backs to the 3 Killings and of course this is a big no-no! When you directly confront the 3 Killings it will not hurt you, but having it behind you will harm you, and whatever you are working on, a great deal.

Now this isn’t the first time I’ve seen this – people have the recommended cures in place but they have forgotten about the other rules pertaining to annual afflictions. I’ve given you a short review below to check your directions. And yes…he moved everyone and has corrected the problem. Things are already improving!

Until next week

A Quick Review Of The Three Annual Afflictions
There are 3 major annual afflictions that I warn about each year at my Feng Shui Extravaganza, and of course I cover them thoroughly in our annual Fortune and Feng Shui Horoscope books for the twelve animal signs. The three that everyone should take note of are: the “Five Yellow” also known as Wu Wang, the “Three Killings” also known as Saam Saat, and the “Grand Duke Jupiter” also known as Tai Sui.

What often happens is that once the recommended cures are in place, some people forget about the other “rules” that apply to each of the afflictions…and then they wonder why their feng shui isn’t working or why they face misfortune and loss. In fact, if the 5 yellow or 3 killings, for example, afflict your bedroom it is really best to move into another room for the year despite the cures you have in place. Or if any of the afflictions hit the sector where your main door into the house is located, then the whole house will feel the effects. So you may want to use another door if possible because the opening and closing of the door activates the affliction.

So if you are experiencing unusual bad luck, misfortune, illness and the like I advise you to make sure you have the recommended cures in place and review the following recommendations for each of these 3 afflictions.

1.Grand Duke Jupiter or Tai Sui: In 2016 Year of the Fire Monkey located in SOUTHWEST 3. Do not face this direction even if it is your sheng chi or best direction according to your kua number. Also there should be no digging, banging or renovations this year in the Southwest. Even though the Tai Sui only occupies 15 degrees of the compass, don’t face or disturb this direction please.

2. Five Yellow or Wu Wang: this year the 5 Yellow is in the NORTHEAST, home of the Ox and Tiger and occupies 45 degrees of the compass. When disturbed or activated it brings serious calamities, accidents, illness and loss. Please do not dig in the ground in the NE or cut down any trees, no excessive noise or bright lights and remember that keeping pets in this sector can also activate the Wu Wang. If you must renovate and your project includes the NE sector, then make sure you don’t start or end the renovation in the place of the 5 Yellow (NE). Better still, avoid renovating this area altogether until another time.

3. The 3 Killings: In contrast to the Tai Sui, you should face the 3 Killings but you must never have them behind you. This year, the 3 Killings is located in the SOUTH so face it boldly, which means of course you cannot sit facing NORTH this year, (even if it is your best direction). Again, if you are planning to do house repairs avoid doing them in the SOUTH. The 3 Killings is always in one of the four cardinal directions so this affliction covers 90 degrees of the compass.

Make a quick review of your sitting directions at home and at the office and note which direction your head faces when sleeping, then make any necessary changes immediately.

Good Luck!

Develop Your Inner Self

LTmoneyballWhen your inner self glows with soothing wisdom and healing light, it brings realizations that have the ability to comfort, enrich and empower you. Your inner “self” condenses these experiential insights that contain all you need to live a fuller, richer and more empowered life.

How are you feeling about yourself at this moment? How is your vitality? How is your body…your physical state? What about your financial status, your social status? Do you have lots of friends or are you lonely? You see, all of these things relate back to the inner self and are a perfect reflection of what you are feeling about yourself right now.

You must start with the knowing that your life is precious and it is continually changing just like the seasons. It is dynamic…evolving and transforming from moment to moment. Since your life is a mirror reflection of your thoughts and feelings, why not start today to live in a state of more awareness?

Begin by visualizing the gold that lies within your heart. This is not like the gold in your wallet or bank account…it is far more precious. In the heart area, there is a powerful vortex of spiritual energy. Some people call this the heart chakra, and here the human energy is at a very high level. Watch your breath and let it awaken you. It should not be too shallow or too deep – just a slow, steady and calming breath. Begin to imagine that you are lifting your heart from its present place into another world of inner abundant health, wealth and happiness. Imagine this bright white light at your heart, pulsating and radiating within you…calm and serene. The heart is where the mind must focus concentration to open the spiritual channel into the cosmic universe!

When you enter this calm state, wisdom and understanding unfold as you relax the mind enabling it to flow freely within your consciousness. And it is now that the higher realizations of the spirit will begin to unfold. Why feel badly when you can feel good? Why feel sad when you can feel happy instead? Flow with life itself! Your quality of life will take on new meaning as your inner self opens to all new possibilities. You are already enriched; confident, empowered and strong…you just needed these insights and pathways revealed to you. Relax the mind and let it lead you along these powerful pathways!
