I don’t know about you but lately I’ve heard from several people complaining of unexpected illness and accidents. Now what I have discovered in cases like this is that they haven’t put the correct cures in place for the 2 or the 5 star and then they wonder what’s hit them. So I’ve given you a short article as a reminder in the In Sync section this week so you can take care of the problem. That’s the great thing about feng shui – there’s always a solution.
And another reminder…since this year we are very short of water, I want to remind you all to think BLUE! Water also signifies wealth and power in 2016 so making water and blue part of your life is important. At WOFS we’ve designed several amazing and gorgeous products this year like the wish fulfilling cowrie scarf and our blue dragon wallet or purse. Honestly, my favorite is the scarf because I’m really partial to the leopard print and the shade of blue…not to mention the powerful amulets we added to protect you and help with your success. I mean just use your imagination… you can add your own blues as well…lots of designers are using blues this year so your wardrobe should be no problem. And in your home it’s easy to replace cushions or decorative pillows with blue designs…you can even paint a wall blue if it works for you.
One more thing…since there was no lap chun this year, it’s a good idea to bring many of the elements of spring into your home with plenty of fresh flowers, nice plants and clear the clutter so the chi can flow easily. This is a time of growth and new beginnings… so why not maximize it?
Wishing you a happy spring!
You Are Not Alone!
Overcoming the 2 & 5 Stars in 2016
As I mentioned, many people lately have written to me wanting some solution to end the illnesses they have been experiencing. I mean, all sorts of unexpected things…affecting people that are normally healthy and just never get sick. Now, no matter what they do they are tired, feeling out of sorts, getting headaches or experiencing a rash of accidents.
Naturally this is no surprise with the 2 star in the center of the chart and the five yellow in the NE (an earth sector) adding more cause for chance accidents, misfortune and loss. If your front door is located in the NE you can hang a 6-rod all metal windchime there for protection – the sound of metal is a very good cure and it’s especially powerful with 6 rods since 6 is the number of big metal. Also make sure that the rods are hollow rather than solid so the chi can move up through the rods and transform bad energy into good.
But the very best cure in 2016 for the 5 Yellow is the Golden Mantra Pillar – especially designed by WOFS with mantras that bring wish-fulfilling blessings and energies into your home. The six sides are decorated with strong water motifs that bring balance to the year.
Now the windchimes are also good for the 2 star since it is an earth element number and the metal windchime will exhaust the earth energy of 2. However because this star needs to be strongly controlled there are some additional things to keep in mind when considering the center area of your home, main rooms or office:
- Be sure not to strengthen the 2 star with fire energy – remove the red carpets that were recommended last year as well as decorative pillows, cushions etc.
- Display the Garuda image to subdue the earth nagas, which cause illness, epidemics etc.
Place the Medicine Buddha Stupa in the center – this is the best spiritual cure as it channels the healing energies throughout your home.
- If your life force or health luck is low, you might also want to consider inviting Guru Rinpoche, whose name is Orgyen Menla and place near the Medicine Buddha Stupa or in a respectful, high locating n the East of your home.
Take care of these two stars and things should begin to improve. This has been called a “Black Year” and as such, energies are dark and dangerous. They do need to be strongly controlled as indicated above.

No On The Tiger
Recently a friend told me his son had purchased a painting of a tiger and it was quite a frightening looking animal. His animal sign was Tiger and he thought it would be complimentary. However, I told him immediately that it’s not a good idea to hang paintings of fierce animals inside the home. Tigers and leopards can turn ferocious! It’s also not a good idea to hang art with sharp, angular lines that could suggest knives and weapons – killing chi. Instead why not go for happier more pleasant art choices?
Be strategic and mindful of your opponents’ strengths and of your own personal weaknesses. If you never overestimate yourself (which is easy to do) nor do you underestimate the enemy, then success can be yours.
