Serious Illness? Here’s what to do

I don’t know about you, but for me there is nothing more devastating than learning about a serious illness that has affected someone in the family or in my circle of friends. There are always lots of possibilities as to why things like this happen…but usually it is due to the afflictive energy of the number 2 illness star or wu wang (5 yellow) and more often than not it affects the younger children or older members of the family. Why? Because just like being more susceptible to germs and viruses, they are also more likely to be affected by changes in energy. These are the last ones we would ever want to suffer! In this week’s ezine I’ve given you some recommendations on what to do when and if illness hits your home…but why not check right now and make sure that you’ve taken care of these two nasty stars rather than waiting for something serious to happen? In fact, this year the five yellow has landed in the patriarch’s corner…and it’s a very strong negative energy so take the time please and get your updates done to protect the ones you love. I can’t push you to get these simple remedies in place…I can only tell you that nine times out of ten misfortune besets the families and businesses that have ignored the 5-yellow.You can find the information in our annual fortune and feng shui animal horoscope books…here in the ezine or online atwww.wofs.com. And be sure to check your monthly updates as well.Until next week,
Lillian

Here’s What To Do When Serious Illness Strikes

People often ask me what they can do in their homes when serious illness strikes suddenly and unexpectedly. In this troublesome year it’s even more important that you know what actions to take.

When serious illness strikes, it usually is due to “illness stars” and often affects younger children and older family members of your household who are more vulnerable to changes in energy. The best cure is a metal cure and especially the sound of metal.

        1. Singing Bowls

The sound of metal is especially effective, so when used correctly singing bowls create a powerful metallic resonance that efficiently absorbs and dissipates sickness chi.

ltsingingbowlChoose a singing bowl with a sound that you like… some people prefer the smaller bowls, as the harmonics are sharper and of a higher octave while others prefer the lower sounds of the larger bowls. Both are equally efficient at dissolving illness chi so it’s up to you. Don’t be miserly – please buy a singing bowl of good quality from a reputable seller.

You’ll need to practice using your singing bowl and of course it takes a little time to get it right. Start by walking around the room three times in a clockwise direction striking the singing bowl or rubbings it’s edges with a wooden mallet. This will make the bowl sing and in singing it creates the vibrational force that clears the air of sickness chi. Within minutes you will feel the room get lighter and brighter and the illness stars will be considerably weakened. To learn more about singing bowls and how to use them, Click Here for our specialFREE report.

Six Rod Metal Windchimes

Another way to take care of illness stars is by hanging the six rod metal windchime… and those of you who have studied flying star feng shui with me know that there are several number combinations that indicate the presence of illness causing energy. When illness strikes your home I would recommend hanging metal wind chimes and using the singing bowl to clear space of this invisible illness energy. Even if you do not know flying star feng shui this is an excellent short-term measure.

The Power of White

ltwhitebedNow here’s a solution that not many people know about because few people realize the immense power of pure white. This is the colour of metal… but it’s also the colour that contains all the seven colours of the rainbow making it intensely powerful. So if someone in your home is ill, placing them in a room with white walls is excellent.

Understanding the illness stars of flying star feng shui is important for effecting long-term cures. Because we know that illness stars are actually EARTH element stars, we can use the appropriate metallic energy to weaken them. Here we are using the exhaustive cycle of the 5-element theory.

Flower Offerings For Your Household Altar

Your home altar should ideally be located in a small room on the uppermost floor of your dwelling…but if this is not possible then a quiet corner of a room is also acceptable. From a feng shui perspective the best corner is the northwest corner, which signifies heaven. If this doesn’t work for you then another area much favoured by feng shui masters is the area of the home directly facing the front door.

No matter where you altar is located, it should be well maintained, kept clean and uncluttered. If you do not have an altar table, then shelves will also do just as well. Be sure to leave enough space in front of holy objects to display your sacred offerings. The placement of fresh offering to the deities is a vital part of the ritual. There are five basic offerings – light, water, incense, flowers and food. Today we will take a closer look at flower offerings:

Flower Offerings

LtchrysanthemumFlowers are a wonderful and beautiful offering. Always use fresh flowers (dried and fake flowers are unsuitable), and the best colours for altars are yellow and white although blue and pink are acceptable. Avoid bright red flowers as they are generally regarded as inauspicious, as are flowers that have thorns such as roses.

As you place the flowers on your altar, always say OM AH HUM. Remember to remove any flower offering as soon as they show signs of fading…and never allow any decaying flowers to remain on your altar, as this is also most inauspicious.

On special occasions and holy days you can double or triple the amount of flower offerings…and there are certain days when the merit gained by making such offerings is multiplied millions of times.

Having fresh flowers in different areas of your home always adds wonderful yang energy, but they are particularly beautiful as an offering to the deities on your altar.

With love,
Lillian

More Tips for Counteracting Illness in 2014 The intangible afflictions brought when illness stars fly into your bedroom or entry area can be very dangerous and their impact on the health luck of the residents can be most severe. This year the Illness Star 2 has flown in the EAST, the home of the Rabbit. You can overcome these illness stars with strong metal energy since the Illness Star 2 is an earthstar and metal will suppress earth energy. Hang metal six-rod wind chimes in the bedroom of the sick person and place a metal wu lou energized with a red ribbon by the side of the bed. Even if you are not certain exactly where the illness star may be, you can still hang a wind chime in the room of the sick person to protect and counteract illness chi.
