|First Month of the Jia Wood Horse
(February 4 – March 5, 2014)Here’s your monthly flying star chart and I urge you to review this and pay attention to these recommendations. This covers the period February 4 – March 5, 2014.In each of the nine grids you’ll see two numbers. The larger number is the annual star, which you probably are already familiar with and the smaller number in the lower right corner is the monthly star. The first thing to do is determine where the most important rooms in your house are located. By important I mean rooms that you use frequently…like your bedroom, the kids’ rooms, dining room etc. You may already know this, but if not use a reliable compass and stand in the center of your home to take your directions. Once you know where each sector is, you can refer to the flying star chart below and take appropriate action. So if your front door, the one everyone uses is located in the north sector then refer to the relevant grid below for the kind of luck that will affect everyone in the household this month.
What is the Luckiest Sector of the Month?
The WEST is very lucky as the white stars 1 and 6 combine to bring good fortune and prosperity to the occupants of this sector. If your room is located here, you enjoy excellent luck in your career as well as good financial support. Display General Chao Chao or the Fuk Luk Sau here to enhance your good fortune. There is one slight problem – you could suffer from severe headaches from having too much stress at work so older occupants should place a wu lou by your bedside for health luck.
The CENTER of the chart is also lucky as the prosperity 8 star flies in to bring money and wealth luck. Place a Vairocana Stupa here to boost money luck. If your living room or bedroom is here, you will enjoy exceptional good fortune in business and also benefit from increased income. You will do well in literary pursuits and examinations, so place a crystal globe on your desk to activate for success.
SOUTHEAST: High chance of armed robbery and bloodshed this month. Carry the Rhino and Elephant Keychain to stay protected. Keep this area quiet and place a red-robed laughing Buddha to suppress the clashing energies here.
NORTHEAST: The illness 2 star joins the violent 7 star bringing problems to the internal organs for those residing in this sector. Serious injuries caused by accidents are possible. Men should watch their health and be careful when working with metal objects. Place the golden wu lou here to remedy the affliction and a water feature to suppress the violent 7 star.
As you can see, it’s important to fine-tune your feng shui every month and take care of the monthly flying stars. You’ll find these monthly charts in Feng Shui World Magazine, so if you’re not already a subscriber I suggest you sign on! It’s quick and easy and always available when you choose the online version…but printed copies are of course available as well…and the best news is this is now a MONTHLY magazine effective January 1, 2014!
|Everyone Needs Amulet Power
In 2014 Amulets and talismans have been used by different cultures throughout the world for centuries. Belief in the power of such sacred symbols is universal…and their potency continues to amaze people as evidenced by their effectiveness in all areas of modern society…be it an urban setting, rural areas, in businesses and even in war zones. This is because amulets are powerful antidotes against spirit harm, illness and accidents…and in this fierce Year of the Horse no one should be without protection in this form. It is said that amulets of the Tibetan traditions are especially potent for protecting the wearer against a variety of misfortunes.Tibetan amulets, when worn on your body create an aura of protection which wards off evil influences and spirit harm that result in sudden reversals of fortune, illness and even loss of life. In my book Tibetan Cosmic Magic Series – 21 Tara OracleI go into much greater detail about which amulets are beneficial for wealth, power, career advancement, protection etc. so if this area that interests you, I urge you to study more about it. The Goddess Tara in her oracle recommends wearing specific amulets to ward of certain afflictions.Generally amulets are round as the circular shape strengthens the base on which a sacred syllable is written, usually in the center. It is said by some that these syllables or symbols are the language of the Dakinis and while they may not mean anything to us they are inherently potent and spirits of the environment can relate and understand them well. And a ring of special invocations sometimes follows this very special symbol in the centre, followed by a third ring of empowering mantras.
Amulets always derive their potency from the magic symbol in the centre of the amulet and by the mantras contained therein. They are activated at a special consecration ceremony presided over by those knowing these rituals and if consecrated by powerful High Lamas they are said to be particularly potent.
The precious knowledge associated with many of the most powerful and sacred practices has now reached others outside of Tibet as a result of the tragic invasion. We are honored to be able to offer such amulets to you now…and to pass on this valuable and ancient form of enhancement and protection to you in many forms such as printed onto scarves as fabric amulets to be worn around the neck touching the throat chakra. Just such is the anti-burglary scarf which you can wear this year to stay protected against being mugged or robbed especially if you reside in the NE sector of home or office.
Amulets in keychain form are also extremely popular, as they can be easily carried with you at all times in your handbag, briefcase or backpack. This year for example The Peace and Harmony Amulet is an excellent antidote to all the conflict stars that have landed in the SW, East, West and NE as well as to subdue the quarrelsome # 3 star in the SE. It features a bright red apple symbolizing peace and the brilliant sun for burning away angst and repairing broken relationships with others. It 2014 this amulet is particularly recommended for those born in the years of the Snake, Dragon, Monkey, Sheep, Rooster, Rabbit and Tiger.
The 2014 Annual Amulet is another one that everyone needs in 2014. This amulet features the Tribute Horse with a glistening wish-fulfilling jewel on its back, to unlock all the abundance available to be tapped in the Year of the Horse. One one side the sun and the moon signifies that all the universe can be yours. The reverse side features a Chinese saying; “Welcoming the Wealth to You” with a pot of gold together with the symbols of a rich harvest and abundance. Carry this one to ensure all your wishes are answered in 2014.
It’s always a good idea to replace the amulets you are carrying every year to match the different stars that affect your personal luck.

|Activate Your Inner Power
All happiness (and suffering) comes from our own mind
For many people it is hard to understand the mind, and accept that everything comes from our mind. In our practice of inner feng shui we accept that both happiness and suffering come from our own mind, hence we must concentrate on thoughts that bring us (and the people that we love), happiness. Work on positive affirmations and thoughts and cultivate the art of being happy.
