Fifth Month of the Gui Ji Water Snake Year June 6, 2013 – July 6, 2013 Here’s your monthly flying star chart and I urge you to review this and pay attention to these recommendations. This covers the period June 6 until July 6, 2013 In each of the nine grids you’ll see two numbers. The larger number is the annual star, which you probably are already familiar with and the smaller number in the lower right corner is the monthly star. The first thing to do is determine where the most important rooms in your house are located. By important I mean rooms that you use frequently…like your bedroom, the kids’ rooms, dining room etc. You may already know this, but if not use a reliable compass and stand in the center of your home to take your directions. Once you know where each sector is, you can refer to the flying star chart below and take the appropriate action. So for example you may have determined that your living room is in the east sector of your home and the monthly forecast shows you’ll need to be extra careful this month because the 5 star enters to combine with the nasty 3 star. This means there could be money trouble, lawsuits, arguments and it’s better to keep this area as QUIET as possible – no wind chimes, noise here – but you can use a 5-element pagoda ringing bell to suppress the bad energies. Keep clear of this sector if possible this month. Now, if your front door (the one that everyone uses) is located in the NORTHEAST sector, then everyone in the home will be affected by the type of luck in that grid. This month, the energy here continues to be very good with excellent wealth luck to those living in this sector. To enhance your good fortune be sure to place a water feature with a tortoise in the NE. Luckiest Sector of the Month? One of the luckiest sectors for June is the Northwest and wealth and money come easily if you reside in this sector. To enhance prosperity use a 6 birds water feature here and if your bedroom is in the NW then use crystals to energize (no fountains in your bedroom please). Unlucky Areas? Watch the center this month. The violent 7 star combines with the annual 5 yellow bringing increased misunderstandings and danger of robbery. Be sure you have a blue rhino displayed in the center of your home. There may also be a problem with mouth related diseases so remedy this by placing a laughing Buddha or crane here. As you can see, it’s important to fine-tune your feng shui every month and take care of the monthly flying stars as well as the annual stars. You’ll find these monthly charts in Feng Shui World Magazine, so if you’re not already a subscriber I suggest you sign on! It’s quick and easy and always available when you choose the online version…but printed copies are of course available as well.
Spiritual Spring Cleaning
Have you ever wondered about the nature of your thoughts and why you look at things the way you do? Most people that tend to be unhappy seem to focus on their troubles; their pains and illnesses while happy people are more confident and optimistic…and generally more positive about things. The truth is that we all create our own reality and hold the key to our own power and success…and it’s always helpful to undertake some mental spring cleaning to get things back in balance on your life on the right track. But this takes work…serious work. Do you think happy and successful people don’t have problems too? Of course they do – we all do but it’s how we look at things and the actions that we take that make a great difference. We all have trouble spots that are blocking our success, health and happiness. Such mental blocks obstruct the natural flow of chi in our minds and bodies and cause both physical and mental problems. The important thing is to identify your ‘mental blocks” and eliminate them…but that’s easier said than done! Here’s the thing – you mustn’t try to do it all at once. The real secret is to break down your big issues into smaller ones and then tackle each one step by step. Once you begin to think like this and identify certain obstacles in your life then even more issues will show up! It can be discouraging but that’s just the way life is…its part of the process. So learn to depend on yourself and turn inward…begin your mental spring-cleaning this week. You’ll be amazed at how your energy level will change and you’ll feel lighter as your spirits are lifted and you begin the process of internal cleansing. It’s not easy but well worth your effort!
Leave the Lights On At Night
It’s a good habit to develop…leaving a few lights on at night. This will ensure that the yang energy never goes out. I always leave a light on at the front entrance (inside the house is better than outside) and also at the back of the house.
And speaking of yin and yang…don’t paint your ceilings a dark yin colour such as blue or purple or dark grey. This represents dark clouds casting a long shadow resulting in obstacles for all your projects. Dark ceilings are never encouraged in any home.
